Daniel in the Lions’ Den

Daniel prayed to God three times a day. Jealous men tricked the king into making a law against praying to anyone but the king. Daniel kept praying, and he was thrown into a den of lions. In the morning the king found him safe. Daniel said, “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths.”

Key verse
My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
Daniel 6:22 (KJV)
