In Egypt, a mother had to hide her baby boy. So she made a little basket.

She set it in the reeds of the river. His big sister watched from far away.

And who came down to the river? Pharaoh’s own daughter.

The baby cried. And her heart melted.

The very house that wanted to harm him… became the house that kept him safe.

And his own mother got to hold him again. His name was Moses.
“And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him.”Exodus 2:6 (KJV)
God can keep you safe in the very place you feared the most.
