Baby Moses in a Basket
Pharaoh ordered that Hebrew baby boys be taken away. One mother hid her baby, then placed him in a little basket among the reeds of the Nile while his sister Miriam watched. Pharaoh’s own daughter found him, felt compassion, and kept him. Miriam brought their mother to nurse him. The princess named him Moses.
