Samuel Hears God Calling
Young Samuel lived in the house of God with Eli the priest. One night he heard a voice call, “Samuel!” He ran to Eli, but Eli had not called him. It happened three times. Eli realized it was the LORD and told Samuel to answer, “Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth.”
